Camelot Games Co has released this variant game for Stalingrad - the original Avalon Hill board game from 1963. A second edition of the game was released in 1974. This variant to these first two editions of the game is called Stalingrad III, and was initially released by SPI in 1970 as part of the Test Series Games. There were two printings, the first was pretty rough, and the second included scenarios. These scenarios have been lost, and we were unable to find them to work from for this third printing of this variant.

Fred Schachter, the original variant's designer, worked closely with our production of this re-release.

This variant has no box. The game components that are included in the printed package are:

John Cooper's Stalingrad Map, 24x36 inches
2 sets of die cut counters, 270 per sheet
6 pages of die cut game cards, 12 cards per page
6 pages of OB Charts, single sided, color, on 67lb chart paper, non-laminated
5 pages of the Reinforcements table, color, single sided paper, 3 hole punched.
11 pages of rules, color, double sided paper
